I miss my Current. So, I’m composing a list of currents.
Current drink: spicy chai – from Trader Joe’s. Mmm.
Current book(s): Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Educational Issues, Curriculum Today, City of Ember (book I’m teaching for summer school) and Feel (my devotional).
Current music/sounds: last.fm library – specifically William Fitzsimmons’ “You Broke My Heart” and washing machine
Current location: dining room table, surrounded by stacks of paper and books.
Current complaint: headache…a tension one or from the weather maybe?
Current crack-up: Tilly is eating flies again. Extra protein, right? (Tilly is a dog, by the way. Don’t worry).
Current worry: will I survive the stress of taking AND teaching classes in the next four weeks?
Current hope: I want to visit Laurie in the mountains, the Bate family in Michigan and snap lots of photos.
Current goal: not to overdose on caffeine like I did yesterday and finish my curriculum evaluation project.
Current means of procrastination: BLOGGING.
- Argument against READINESS:
- Teachers must be educated in a science of education such as child debelopment.
- Curriculum involved knowing exactly when and how students are developmentally ready to learn specific information.
- Society must be eager for educational reform or change.

I miss you too!!
