resolutions vs. goals.

3 Jan

Welcome 2010, so long 2009!
What an eventful year! By far this has been one of the most extreme years, full of thrilling highs and some devastating lows. I’m blessed beyond belief and that was the point God continued and faithfully showed me this year.

I’m not much of a resolutions kind of gal but because I just had a birthday (the big 2-4) I made a little list of things to accomplish in the next year. Specifically, I made a list called “24 Things before 25.” My list has 24 fun-filled tasks to complete before I turn 25! Some are obvious and inevitable (unless Troy smartens up) like get married, earn more grad hours, and skim down my wardrobe/donate excess clothing (already did some of that this weekend!). Others are goals that will be personally monumental when reached like running a half-marathon. Anywho, I look forward to crossing things off my list – even the silly little goals.

Hope you’ve had a lovely time with the ones you love.

    hi, micki!

this isn’t exactly a new post, but i’ve been thinking about goals and such lately. i wanted to write them down in a list fashion that would keep me motivated to finish all of them, but not be overwhelmed by a ridiculously long list.

so, i’m taking this idea and applying it for myself. :) sixteen things to do before seventeen.. here we go!
