This is the perfect background movie for editing photos:
Big night ahead of editing (but I love this step in the process) and I’m thanking Starbucks Winter Blend for helping me through it.
Look for photos from the Keller’s “Winter Portrait Session ’09.” It was a blast photographing them – and I always feel honored to record that very special family via film. Kyla was a trooper – though, she was clearly over it by the end. :)
I’m a little obsessed with the following song. Luckily, CD101 (THE alternative station for Columbus – ha, their tag line could use some work) overplays the little ditty. Mat and Kim are playing at Summerfest (@ the LC) on August 22nd. $5 to see a whole lotta good bands. I’m so there.
While I was listening to that very song on that very aforementioned radio station very early Tuesday morning, I suddenly saw some beautiful swirling red, white and blue lights in my rear-view mirror. At 7:14 AM, on my way to teach summer school on the other side of the city, I was daydreaming. Thinking about my need for coffee, upset about waking up late, and especially frustrated with my major headache. The oh-so-nice police officer really didn’t care about that as I went 51 mph in his 35 mph speed trap area on Hamilton Road. He heard no denial from me about my committed crime but, boy, was I annoyed with my non-attentive self and his copper ‘tude. Maybe he needed some coffee, too. Anywho, learned my lesson but at the cost of a pretty penny. Crummy start to a day, huh? Can’t say that it was my first ticket…and not sure if it’ll be my last. I would have much rather received the lovely pink ticket if I was purposely speeding…and not just in la-la land.
Wake up, Micki!
P.S. Psst. Speaking of musicccc…I just bought our tickets to see Snow Patrol in September. Excited!
We’re not much for over-the-top Valentine’s gifts here in the Current home but this year we gave some sweet gifts. The gift of MUSIC. For me… tickets to see COLD WAR KIDS. :) For the hubster… tickets to see BLACK JOE LEWIS and the HONEYBEARS! And because we love our furry friends… Have [...]
We’re married! (**please note: Troy’s boogey-board accident, including an injury to his face, is apparent in this photo.) Our wedding was, hands down, the best day of our lives. It was magical and everything we wanted – and wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful people in our lives. (Literally, that wedding was my only [...]
Let’s just get married already, ok? I’m on wedding overload between all the photographing, participating, and planning. Loving every minute but ready to be a Mrs. That’s all. Hope you’re having a splendid summer. Sorry for my absence. I’m a busy, busy girl. :)
Go here check out the sneak peak of our engagement photos by studio3z. We’re over the moon about them and can’t wait to see how the rest of them turned out. Jess and Brett are by far the hippest married photographers I’ve ever met. We’re very, very excited for them to be there to capture [...]
