Ok, so what if I get slightly emotional when editing couple’s pictures? I love that love can still move me. It gives my somewhat cynical heart hope to know that it can still produce emotion and be inspired. I’m not implying that those abilities were gone but sometimes they get lost in the translation of the daily grind. And I am not ashamed that a picture, accurately and thoroughly depicting the depth of love, may cause the welling up of a tear. :)
Here’s to feeling loved. Cheers.

More Keller and Scholz/Stroop pictures to come!
P.S. If you have the opportunity to see Rob Bell’s Drops Like Stars tour, then go. I know everyone says this: I needed to hear every word. That’s the beauty of Bell’s messages – they’re simple and obvious. The art of solidarity – to know that “we’re all in this together” (a la musician Ben Lee) is what helps us get through the mess of life. Presence is enough to heal. So easy to forget, huh? Thanks, Mr. Bell, for reminding me that I serve the “God who wastes nothing.”
Off to celebrate this hunk’s birthday (well, it was Wednesday). I’m giddy with excitement to give him his gift – I’ve been saving a bit for it. :)
